Young people have been invited to a free event to celebrate culture and diversity in the borough.
The ‘One Borough’ event, celebrating culture and diversity in the Tower Hamlets, has been organised by Young Mayor Mahdi Alam, and will take place in Mile End Stadium, Burdett Rd, on October 29 from 11am to 4pm.
Sports activities, competitons, henna painting, food and live performances will feature on the day.
Mahdi said: “It’s a chance for you to celebrate our community and diversity as well as having a day full of fun things to do.”
Tower Hamlets Mayor Lutfur Rahman said: “The young mayor’s one borough event has been organised by young people for young people.”
