Parts of Circle, District and Hammersmith and City lines are not running
Commuters are to face delays this evening after a signal failure at Aldgate East station.
There is no anticlockwise Circle line, and no Hammersmith and City service between Moorgate and Barking.
The District line is suspended eastbound between Tower Hill and Whitechapel.
Following a separate signal failure at Ealing Common, resulting in no trains between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway, the whole line is experiencing severe delays.
Tickets are valid on local buses.
Nigel Holness, London Underground’s operation director, said: “The Hammersmith & City and Circle lines have been part suspended since 1545 due to a signal failure in the Aldgate East area.
“London Underground staff on site are working hard to rectify the issue and get services back up and running as soon as possible.
“We would like to apologise to customers for the disruption this may cause to their journeys this evening.”
