Train services in both directions have been suspended between Aldgate East and Barking on the District and between Liverpool Street and Barking on the Hammersmith & City.

Emergency services are at Bow Road where a passenger was reported to have fallen onto the track in front of an oncoming train.

Paramedics from the Ambulance Service and rescue fire crews are at the scene.

Severe delays are expected for some time to come, affecting homer-going commuters this-evening.
