COMMUTERS were struggling to get from the East End into work this morning due to problems on London Underground.
A signal failure at Holland Park meant severe delays to the Central Line in both directions during the rush-hour.
And then passengers faced even more disruptions after a person was taken ill on a train at Leytonstone, causing the line to be suspended from Liverpool Street to Leytonstone.
There were also severe delays on the Hammersmith and City Line due to a signal failure at Upton Park.
But a Transport for London spokesman confirmed that the Central Line was back up and running by 9.30am although there are still some delays.
