Join in the discussion on Twitter @Nathaniel_John This week, Hammers reveal their thoughts ahead of their play-off first-leg tie at Cardiff City. Should West Ham treat it as just another away league game?
We have to believe! We know we can do it but we just have to go there and apply ourselves properly! Come on you Irons! – @pudderst
I can’t wait to be honest! I haven’t been this excited since the FA Cup final. Am I being naive? – @olliedearn

We do need to treat it like a regular away game, we have only lost four all season! I am relatively confident given our away form – @KwamsMoriarty
I think we do need to treat it like we treated Cardiff away last time – cautious but looking for the win. Stating the obvious I know, but the first-leg advantage will be a massive boost for us given our inconsistent home form – @jflynn84

I am massively nervous. If we can win away then we can nick a draw at home. In Big Sam we trust – @RickiBurke
If we play like we did at their place last time we will be fine I reckon. Then again this is West Ham! – @joepsherry
We already have the psychological advantage as we beat them at their place not too long ago. With that fresh in the mind, we should be able to get a win in Cardiff. It won’t be easy though as it isn’t an easy place to go to and there will be a hostile atmosphere. But that has been the story all season – @RichardBlackster2
This could be a really good game and I hope that we don’t just sit back and play for the draw away from home. Anything can happen over the 180 minutes, but we should be too strong for them – @Lucie_WalkerWHU
We will win in Cardiff using the same tactics we have employed all season. Soak up the early pressure when they come flying at us, and then hit them where it hurts. I haven’t seen anything of Cardiff to fear recently – @Bill_Jackson44
We need to be cautious of giving away free-kicks in dangerous positions. Peter Whittingham is a master when it comes to set-pieces and he poses a big threat from midfield – @DaveWalding1
We have the momentum, and we are unbeaten in six games. This will be no tougher than Leicester away – @GaryWraying52
I am confident that we will make it 14 away wins this season at Cardiff. We are a lot mentally stronger than some people give us credit for. We will hold our nerve – @KimB92
