A senior professor at the University of East London has been appointed a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health.
Lord Kamlesh Patel, the university’s Strategic Partnerships director and senior advisor to the Vice-Chancellor, plans to use the Professorial fellowship to continue world-class research in public health.
He has been recognised at international level for his research by the Royal Society, an independent organisation promoting and protecting collective human health and well-being.
