Union ballot gives go-ahead for Tube strike

UNION members have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a tube strike. The RMT ballot showed 76 per cent of members were in favour of strike action, with 88 per cent voting for action short of a strike.

The RMT ballot showed 76 per cent of members were in favour of strike action, with 88 per cent voting for action short of a strike.

The RMT will now consult other transport unions to decide on the next course of action.
