Update: Man charged for assault on Bethnal Green schoolgirl

A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a Bethnal Green schoolgirl.
Yakub Miah, 35, of Roman Road, Bow, was yesterday charged with assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration.
He will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Miah was arrested on Tuesday after he presented himself at an east London police station.
The attack happened in a flat in Gwilym Maries House, Canrobert Street, on May 13.
