High-flying American law graduates have taken time out of the office to help give a community centre a fresh coat of paint.
The group, who are on a 10 week work exchange programme plying their trade at international law firm Linklaters, gave up their time to help redecorate the Hanbury Street Community Room in Spitalfields. The event, on July 18, was organised by housing association Tower Hamlets Community Housing (THCH) in partnership with the East London Business Alliance.
Rasel Miah, of THCH, said: “The team did a great job and residents who use the facility will no doubt appreciate the work they put in.”
The costs of the redecoration were met by Linklaters.
