ENGLAND fans may have been feeling sombre but football lovers from across the pond were living up to their reputations for enthusiasm by whooping and cheering during the match on Saturday.
Patriotic Americans packed out Bodean's barbecue restaurant in Tower Hill to watch their national team draw with England in their first match of the 2010 World Cup.
Bodean's is interrupting its back-to-back coverage of American football, baseball, basketball and other American sport to show the World Cup Matches.
Fans turned out dressed in their national colours and waving American flags and, despite the one-all draw, USA supporters backed their national team to the hilt as they tucked into their meals.
