Usain Bolt surprised party-goers in Brick Lane on Saturday by turning up to DJ at the Puma Yard club.

Fresh from winning his third gold medal of London 2012 by helping Jamaica to a world record time of 36.84 seconds in the 4x100m relay, Bolt made for Brick Lane in the early hours to celebrate his feat.

Speaking at the club, Bolt said: “I am a legend. I’m feeling great, I’m happy I did what I did. I came here to become a legend and I am now so I’m very happy with myself.”

The success of the Jamaican team in Saturday’s event capped an incredibly successful Olympics for Bolt, after he won the 100m and 200m races. His three medals at the London Games meant he completed an unprecedented “double treble” after winning the same three events in Beijing four years earlier.
