TOWN Hall bosses are being urged to make more use of anti-social behaviour orders to tackle hate’ crime in London’s East End.
The recommendation comes in a survey for the Race and Hate Forum which suggests Tower Hamlets council worked more closely with housing associations and youngsters.
But the report noted the authority has demonstrated “a strong commitment at the highest levels to tackling hate crime and providing support to victims.”
Researchers interviewed 28 victims of hate crime such as racism, homophobia or religious in the East End for the survey.
