Detectives leading a murder investigation in east London have named the man found dead on a housing estate in Hoxton after formal identification has taken place.
They have identified the man found late on Sunday night on the Cranston Estate off Pitfied Street as 26-year-old Greg Peake, who lived there. His family have been informed.
He was declared dead by Ambulance paramedics at the scene. A post-mortem examination at Poplar Mortuary was inconclusive, but Greg had not been shot or stabbed, Scotland Yard confirmed today.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on Sunday night on suspicion of murder.
