FLOWERS are being laid on the spot in the City today (Thursday) to mark the first anniversary of the death of newspaper seller Ian Tomlinson at the G20 protests last year.
The United Campaign against Police Violence is backing a vigil called by the Ian Tomlinson Family Campaign to remember Ian in Cornhill today.
Ian, who lived on the Isle of Dogs, died after being struck by a police officer on 1 April last year.
