This-year’s Roman Road Festival resumes this-morning with its second Sunday along East London’s famous market thoroughfare.

The six-hour festivities being laid on from 11am by the Roman Road Resident & Business Association and Tower Hamlets Council aims to draw the public to “one of the East End’s most important town centres and a quirky place to live”.

Events today include a party to celebrate Eid, with Bollywood dancing, singing and dance workshops and local produce and crafts market.
