THE WHITECHAPEL Gallery is hosting the first UK solo exhibition of installation artist Rachel Harrison in a spring programme of shows unveiled today.

The American artist combines objects she finds with construction work, photos, painting and moving images.

Her show Indigenous Parts opens on April 30 and runs until June 20.

The work of Flemish architects Paul Robbrecht and Hilde Daem also feature in a show which opens at the gallery on Whitechapel Road on April 24.

It looks at their work including Bruges concert hall, a museum extension in Rotterdam and work at a zoo and a wood cabin.
