ANTI-WAR demonstrators will be holding a candle-lit vigil near Brick Lane this evening in support of Palestine.

Miriam Scharf from the Tower Hamlets and Jenin Friendship Association, said: "As the carnage in Gaza goes on the people of Tower Hamlets want to express their anger and their sorrow."

The protest has been organised the Tower Hamlets section of Stop the War coalition. It will be held at Altab Ali Park in Whitechapel at 6pm.
