The historic Wilton’s Music Hall is to host the first ever London edition of Ireland’s Other Voices alternative music festival.

For one weekend in April, the world’s oldest surviving music hall, just off Cable Street in Wapping, will welcome artists to perform in one of London’s most intimate venues.

Confirmed acts include the remaining members of Dexy’s Midnight Runners – now shortened to Dexy’s – as well as American singer/songwriter John Grant, Imelda May and indie folk band Stornoway.

The weekend of April 5-7 will be the first time the Other Voices festival, held annually in Dingle, Ireland, has come to the capital.
