POLICE are appealing for information which could lead to the arrest of three men who tried to hold up a van near a post office in Poplar.
They are looking for three black men who hinted to the van driver and his assistant that they might have a gun with them and hit one of them.
But the trio made off empty handed in a blue Seat Leon car parked near the post office in Kerbey Street at about 9.40am on Friday.
One of the men was wearing an orange and black cap with a bandanna over his face.
