Witness appeal after woman pedestrian, 52, dies in road accident in Bow

Police have renewed appeals this week for witnesses to a fatal road accident in London’s East End in which a 52-year-old woman pedestrian died.

Nurun Nehar died in hospital following the accident involving a moped in Coborn Road, Bow, at the junction with Lichfield Road, on Thursday, June 23, close to her home.

The moped rider suffered shock and minor injuries. He was interviewed under caution but was not arrested in connection with the incident.

Investigators said today (Weds) they still need to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the June 23 accident at 5.10pm and are appealing for them to call the witness line on 020-8597 4874.
