A woman was taken to hospital this morning (Tuesday) following a two-car collision near Mile End underground station.
The incident happened just after 7.30am at the junction of Mile End Road and Rhonda Grove. A Tower Hamlets police spokeswoman said the road is open and traffic is now moving normally.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman told the Advertiser: “We were called at 7.31am today to reports of a road traffic collision near Mile End underground station.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a single responder in a car to the scene.
“Our staff treated a woman for minor injuries and took the patient to the Royal London Hospital.”
