Woman released from hospital as police appeal for witnesses after attack in Victoria Park

A woman has been discharged from hospital after being attacked by a man as she jogged through Victoria Park.

The incident took place in the park at 6.20am on Tuesday, October 8, and the woman, in her 20’s, was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew before being taken to an East London hospital.

A single responder in a car was also sent to the scene.

Police are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen the attack to come forward and call 101 reference Cad 1201/08 Oct or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
