The tower is now at the full height of around 450ft above ground level.

The building at 10 Park Drive in the Wood Wharf neighbourhood at Blackwall has 345 apartments and will be ready by the end of 2019 when the first residents move in.

The scheme next to the South Dock of the old Millwall Docks is part of the five-million sq ft Wood Wharf development by Canary Wharf Group which got the green light from Tower Hamlets Council in 2015.

The new district is to have 3,600 homes and 380,000sq ft of retail space including boutique shopping arcades, as well as a doctor’s surgery, hotel, new primary school for 420 children, community sports hall and four public open spaces. New streets will connect to Canary Wharf in the west and Prestons Road to the east.
