AN EAST London estate is joining in a world record attempt to plant as many trees as possible tomorrow.
Volunteers are urged to join the free family day at the water garden at the Cranbrook estate at Mace Street, off Roman Road, in Bethnal Green, for the record attempt at 11am.
Other attractions include free fishing lessons, the chance to discover aquatic life seen through an underwater camera and flower planting.
People should wear old clothes to help join in the planting and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
The event has been organised by environmental charity Thames 21 and continues until 2pm.
