The world’s largest sprinkler will give residents a good soaking and help them cool off this weekend in Victoria Park.
Measuring in at just over eight metres long and seven metres high, it will spurt out five-metre long jets of water and is expected to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest ever residential water sprinkler.
Drinks company Juicy Water has specially built the giant sprinkler for the event, which will run from 12pm to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Visitors can also take part in a giant water pistol fight or catch some rays on one of the sun loungers while a DJ plays some summer tunes.
Emilie Stephenson, of Juicy Water, said: “It’s going to be a scorcher this weekend, so what better way to cool down than with a giant water sprinkler, and help us set a world record at the same time.”
