FOOTBALL fever is coming to Bethnal Green when writer Chris Roberts shares stories of rituals and superstitions share by players and fans.
Author and London tour guide Chris Roberts will be shining a light on the beautiful game which he describes in his book Football Voodoo at a talk at Bethnal Green library a week after the start of the World Cup.
He will be talking about the superstitious rituals of the England football squad and those of their rivals.
The writer who is also a librarian has published work on the history of nursery rhymes and a photographic study of the story of London's Bridges.

He is inviting people to bring along their own superstitious objects to the event at the library in Cambridge Heath Road on Thursday June 17.
The free event kicks off at 6.30pm and refreshments are available.
