SINGERS Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs officially opened the London International Boat Show today, performing live before posing for the press with members of the Royal Engineers (pictured).

The pair, who shot to fame on ITV's X Factor, opened the show at East London's ExCeL centre this-morning.

The Royal Engineers are making history demonstrating their assault craft out on the water in the Royal Docks for the first time since the show opened in 1954.

The Boat Show, which runs till January 17, features 500 exhibitors showing power and sail boats, dinghies, engines, electronics, deck equipment, charter holidays and sailing courses.

Some 80 new products are on display and there are daily live performances of Rock the Boat, a blend of fashion and dance by the Brian Rogers Dancers.
