Young Foundation cash for new technology start-ups in Bethnal Green

Entrepreneurs setting up technology businesses in London’s East End to solve social or environmental problems are getting a helping hand with tips from leading experts and cash from ethical investors.

The Young Foundation’s ‘Bethnal Green Ventures’ programme for technology start-ups kicks off with a day-long Saturday seminar on June 30.

The three month programme running till September is aimed at companies in the very early stages of getting established in the fields of social issues or the environment.

It is providing up to £15,000 investment and three months’ support for those accepted who get to work with some of the world’s top engineers, designers, company founders and investors.
