The Boundary Commission has announced revised proposals for changes to constituency seats.

Stepney and Bow would consist of Bow East, Bow West, Bromley North, Bromley South, Mile End, Shadwell, St Dunstan’s, St Katherine’s and Wapping, Stepney Green and Whitechapel wards.

Bethnal Green, Spitalfields and Banglatown, St Peter’s and Weavers would join six Hackney wards to become Shoreditch and Bethnal Green.

Blackwall and Cubitt Town, Canary Wharf, Island Gardens, Lansbury, Limehouse and Poplar would join five Newham wards to become Poplar and Canning Town.

The changes, planned to be used from the next general election, are taking place to balance the number of voters in each constituency.

A consultation on the proposals runs until December 11. Visit bce2018.org.uk for more and to have your say.
