With less than a move to go until the NBA London Game 2018, British basketball fans can get an early glimpse of the Boston Celtics in action on Christmas Day.

The Celtics will face the Philadelphia 76ers at a sold-out O2 Arena in London next month.

But on Christmas Day, Boston tackle the Washington Wizards in one of five games to be shown in the UK by BT Sport and NBA League Pass on the day.

This year marks the 70th edition of NBA games being played on December 25, and power forward Guerschon Yabusele is excited about his first festive period with the Celtics.

“It’s something to be a part of this big community to be a part of the Boston Celtics,” he said.

“This is a great organization. Every time you step on the court you’ve got to give everything, 100 percent.

“To be a part of that, it’s really something and amazing and something I couldn’t really imagine when I was playing in France, but I’m really happy to be here and just enjoying it.”

• The Boston Celtics take on the Washington Wizards as part of a very special NBA Christmas Day. Catch all five NBA Christmas Day games from 5pm live on BT Sport and via NBA LEAGUE PASS at www.nba.tv.
