Caledonian Conquerors kept alive their hopes of qualifying for the top division in the Victoria Park League's Super Six phase with a dramatic one-wicket win over London Fields.

Rick Davies hit a single off the last ball of the match to secure a victory that leaves Conquerors second in the Red League qualifying group and on course for a place in the top Super Six division.

Paul Teasdale's unbeaten half-century helped London Fields make a blistering start, until Conquerors duo Mohamed Siddiqui (three wickets for 16) and Dave Weekes (one for 12) put the brakes on.

Will Isaac's steady knock of 47 helped Fields reach 147 off 16 overs, but Conquerors openers Mohammed Fazal (24) and Bazlul Haque (31) immediately set about reaching the target, smashing 72 inside six overs.

Dave Miller's three wickets helped Fields regain control and when Conquerors' top-scorer Amir Khan (37) was dismissed by Teasdale with seven required off the final over, the result was in the balance.

Yet Siddiqui hit a crucial boundary to draw Conquerors level before Davies hit the winning run from the final ball of the match.

The Ducks remain top of the Red League after a dominant seven-wicket triumph over Chats Palace.

John Saunders-Griffiths made 50 not out for Palace, but Ellery Horsman (22) was the only other batsman to make a significant contribution.

And the Ducks reached the target of 112 without losing a wicket as Sibet Hussain top-scored with 52 not out to maintain the club's unbeaten start to the season.

London Tigers also remain undefeated as Zahedul Islam's unbeaten half-century inspired a 73-run defeat of Wrong'uns. Islam top-scored with 50 not out, while Shahriai Mahmud (31) and Raihan Ahmed (20) helped the Tigers reach 173 for five.

Syaful Islam (one for 20) and Gulam Sowar (one for 25) ensured Wrong'uns were always behind the run-rate as the Tigers cruised to a victory that keeps them top of the Green League.

Pacific remain two points behind the group leaders after claiming a fourth straight win with a 22-run victory over Bengal Tigers. Rob Bastin (50 not out), Darren Tempany (39) and Justin Roy (31) made valuable contributions in Pacific's total of 183 for six.

Bengal Tigers were in contention following impressive knocks from Tim George (47) and Andrew Cox (60 not out), but a failure to score boundaries ensured that Pacific's total remained out of reach.

The outcome leaves Pacific level on points with second-place Island Community, who recorded a crushing six-wicket win over Masiha.

Disciplined bowling from the Isle of Dogs outfit held Masiha to a below-par score of 115 for four off 16 overs, while Robert Jones (53 not out) and Mo Rahman (50 not out) smashed unbeaten half-centuries to see Island home with four overs to spare.

Soyfur Rahman's remarkable five-wicket haul inspired Victoria Park Juniors to a four-wicket win over Victoria Lounge, who had made an excellent start as James Crutcher (57 not out) and Greg Rickards (31) shared a century partnership.

But Rahman swung the game towards Victoria Park with a spell of five wickets for just 11 runs to restrict Lounge to 130 for six, and a half-century stand between Charlie Challinor (29) and Mehdi Abbas (43 not out) helped Juniors to a third straight win.

Paul Johnson's unbeaten 60 was unable to prevent Sky from extending their unbeaten record with a 54-run defeat of Tower Cavaliers.

Shakeel Durrani's 50 not out anchored Sky's total of 168 for four and despite Johnson's fine knock, Javed Soomro took three for 26 to seal victory for Sky.

Sky's Blue League rivals East London Community claimed a 100-run defeat of Old Ranwellians, who are still searching for a first win of the season.

Altaf Bhat (52 not out), Mohit Gupta (33) and Shakeel Ahmed (21) made impressive contributions in East London's imposing total of 181 for five.

Ranwellians made a bright start through Alex Hudson (19) and Ed Greening (16), but superb bowling from Bhat (three for nine) and Gupta, who took two wickets in four balls, saw Ranwellians collapse to 81 all out.

London Wanderers recorded a four-wicket win over Old Fallopians, who were unable to build on an improved batting display that saw Austin Hymas (34 not out) and AK Southey (26) anchor a total of 117 for two.

Wanderers made a fast start to their reply through Riv Monsell (36) and Howie Shearing (24), and Badg Alam's 41 not out saw his side home with four overs remaining.

Tower Ravens secured a 25-run win over Contenders as Ian Gordon (50 not out) and Nick Franks (37) helped bring up a total of 182 for five, while Contenders were held to 157 for five.
