Limehouse resident Scarlett Mew Jensen is set to make her senior debut for Great Britain at the European Championships in Scotland later this summer.

The 16-year-old, who dives for Dive London at the Aquatics Centre in Stratford with two-time Olympic bronze medalist and 11-time world, European and Commonwealth champion Tom Daley, has been picked for the main squad for the event in Glasgow in August, having only just finished her GCSEs.

Jensen, a former winner of the Canary Wharf Sports Personality of the Year award, is a multiple national champion and European Junior medalist and flew out to Turkey after her exams last week for a GB training camp.

The talented teen will journey on to Kiev, Ukraine for the World Junior Championships, before her senior outing as she takes another step towards a possible appearance at a future Olympics.

Jenesen has already travelled to Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Singapore, Germany, Italy, and Malaysia to represent Great Britain, juggling her performances on the international stage with her studies at St Marylebone School for Girls in Westminster.
