Football: Beaumont Athletic induct four to HOF

Beaumont Athletic FC held their 17th Annual awards ceremony on the June 24 at the Sonargaow Restaurant in Brick Lane.

Beaumont Athletic FC held their 17th Annual awards ceremony on the June 24 at the Sonargaow Restaurant in Brick Lane.

Presentations and trophies made to the entire team for their successful Sonali Bank Cup campaign.

Individual awards were also handed out to Abu Suphian, who was the club's top scorer, Thanveer Chowdhury, the players player of the year, as well as Shipon Parbez and Omar Faruque, who were named joint players of the year.

Shumon Chowdhury, Astab Mohammed Khan, Azizus Samad and Abdul Goffar were also inducted into the Mile End club's Hall of Fame as reward for their 17 years of service.
