Gulapganj signed off their Greater Sylhet warm up games with a 2-0 victory over Derai at Stepney Green.

Mohammed Zakaria’s men continued their winning streak with another impressive performance as they controlled the match from start to finish.

Aminul and Kamruz have forged a formidable partnership at the back and achieved their second consecutive clean sheet.

With the crowd chanting his name local boy Tharik Hussain was again instrumental in in the middle of the park as the schemer set the fans pulses racing with a goal.

Atiqul is enjoying a little purple patch and didn’t disappoint as he bagged his second in consecutive games.

Zakaria said: “It was another good win for us.

“I have made my final squad selection for this year and have had to apologise to some household names.

“I do believe we have a strong team capable of giving a good account of ourselves.”
