Albert Daniels Cup holders Lapton have a chance of winning the trophy for a third consecutive year after a Gabriel strike earned them a 1-0 semi-final win over Bancroft United.

With Lapton playing in the cup, the Premier League's second-placed side Romania Galaxy closed the gap to three points after a 8-2 win over OKJH.

Free-scoring Ionut Coropceanu smashed four, while Florin Virlan and Antoniu Meroi hit braces and Antony White scored both of OKJH's goals.

Black Meteors stay in touch after an Edward Owusu-Ansah goal helped them to a 1-0 win over Eureka, while Clapton Rangers beat Irawo Reds 2-1.

Brian Okwer gave Clapton a first half lead, before Thomas Sameth equalised, leaving Ronnie Flynn to score Rangers' winner.

Red Devils beat Three Compasses 5-1, with a double from Zeek Watson plus goals from Mark Mundale, Alistair Buffonge and Carlos Nelson. Karmah Dubbery replied for Compasses.

Two goals from Raymond Gibson and a V Sopylyuk goal helped Albion Manor to a 3-0 win over MSW.

A James Smith strike 10 minutes from time rescued the points for Division One leaders Metwin against Vio Romania.

Vio had taken a first-half lead through Zimbru Mariu, before Johnny Fitzpatrick equalised and Smith hit the winner.

Mile End remain in third after a 6-2 win over Lancresse Rangers. James Morris and Abraham Mahood both struck doubles, while Michael and Kiren O'Donoghue scored one each. Dean Richards and Tope Olateju replied for Rangers.

Division Two leaders Hare & Hounds edged out Cosmopolitan 2-1 thanks to strikes from Chris Davis and Luke Cato.

Tottenham Phoenix beat Storm 2-1 with goals from Chris Smith and Jerome Anglin, while a Luke Trimm strike earned Midfield the three points against Athletico Angels.

Jay Cubed are up to fourth after a 5-1 win over Lockers. Dean Johnson (2), Pat Barrett, Carlos Fowler and Justin Leonce were all on target, while Arcenio Araojo replied for Lockers.

Hackney kept up their 100 per cent record with a crushing 8-1 win over Cock Tavern. Alex Bramble, Marlon Marriott-Dixon and Alfie Greenway all struck doubles, while Shane Joseph and Delroy Durrant also scored. Darly Barclay replied for Tavern.

Kane Mullone and Ricky Stewart both scored five goals apiece, while Danny Bird was also on target as Alpha Grove beat Maynell 11-4.

An Ashley Smithson strike was not enough for Wenlock Arms, who were defeated 2-1 by Mustard.

AFC Knights are up to fourth after a 9-2 thrashing of Walthamstow Village. D Soggins and L Hare both hit braces, while S Brown, Chris Howard, S Skinner, M Alford and D Martin also found the target, with Raymond Richardson and Symon William replying for Village.

A Simani Balju strike earned leaders Florist Arms a 1-0 win over East London, while Shoreditch Fire Penguins stay second after a 3-1 win over Comet, with Duncan Coombs (2) and Tom Howard the scorers, while Uli Izzet replied for Comet.

Regents Park are third after a 3-1 win over Baris Spor, with Keith Murray, Stuart Taggart and Pablo Frosco the scorers, with Serkan Parker hitting the Baris consolation.

Royal Oak beat Eastway Olympia 5-1 with Jamie Curtis and Anthony McKinnan each hitting doubles as Andre Davies scored the other. Lee Marshall replied for Eastway.
