Hamlets celebrating; AJ returns for good?

The latest from Hamlets FC, Tower Hamlets and Sporting Bengal United
FC Hamlets were able to celebrate going a whole two years without a competitive defeat last weekend after Essex Olympian League Division Three opponents Forest Glade could not raise a team.
Ashley King’s side would have hoped to face Glade and continue their success this campaign, but the visitors’ no-show ensured they had achieved a huge milestone.
Hamlets have played 37 league and cup matches since February 22 2013 and not been beaten once during that period.
And they have achieved lots of success over the past two years, winning five major competitions.
They won the Essex Business Houses Premier League title as well as the London Junior Cup in 2012/13 and last year they were able to celebrate success in three other competitions.
Hamlets are currently top of the table and visit nearest rivals Upminster on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Tower Hamlets suffered another defeat in the Essex Senior League last weekend, but it is believed former player-manager Ajibola Ashnike has returned to the helm.
League rivals Ilford confirmed Ashnike had departed Cricklefield Stadium last week to return to Mile End-based Tower Hamlets.
If that is the case that will be a big boost to the east London club as they look to halt a poor run of form since resuming their league campaign on January 24.
Tower Hamlets have only won once in eight matches since their suspension was lifted and have suffered five losses during that time.
Second-placed Barking beat them 1-0 at Mayesbrook Park last weekend, but didn’t score the winner until the 90th minute.
Hamlets will hope to bounce back on Saturday when they travel to the Old Spotted Dog to take on London Bari before hosting Takeley next Wednesday.
Sporting Bengal United host Enfield on Saturday before a tough trip to league leaders Haringey Borough on Tuesday.
