Errol McKellar is putting on another charity game in aid of Prostate Cancer UK later this month at Brisbane Road.

The Leyton Orient youth-team coach has been at the club for several years, but is also renowned for his work to help raise the awareness of prostate cancer.

Back in the summer of 2015, May 31, a crowd of 2,900 turned up at Brisbane Road to watch an O’s legends team, managed by Martin Ling, take on Harry Redknapp and Russell Brand’s Men United side featuring former sportsmen and celebrities.

The match helped raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK and another charity game will take place in E10 on Sunday May 27.

Funds from this game will go to Prostate Cancer UK, the Errol McKellar Foundation and East Hertfordshire Mind Network – a charity close to the heart of Orient’s director of football Ling.

An Errol McKellar Celebrity XI will do battle with Martin Ling’s London Legends with Baby Pearl Events sponsoring the event in E10.

The game will kick-off at 3pm and tickets cost £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for 3-16 year-olds.

The likes of Trevor Sinclair, Luther Blissett, Ralph Little and Tamer Hassan featured in the previous match three years ago and more high profile names in the world of sport, music and acting will take part this time around.

Redknapp is returning and will be supported by Brighton & Hove Albion manager and Spurs legend Chris Hughton.

Southend United boss Chris Powell will also be in attendance alongside Little and Walsh plus The Apprentice 2014 winner Mark Wright, will get his boots on.

Professional snooker player Mark King will change sports for the day and ex-Orient stars Dean Cox, Kevin Lisbie, John Mackie, Gary Alexander, Scott McGleish, Matty Joseph and Aiden Palmer are set to feature.

AFC Bournemouth left-back Charlie Daniels, who is still fondly remember by the Brisbane Road faithful, is also due to return to his old club on May 27.

Meanwhile one-time Premier League players Ian Pearce, Paul Konchesky and Omer Riza will feature for Ling’s team.

Celebrities Jeff Brazier and DJ Spoony should be involved alongside rapper and actor Kano, comedian David Alfie Ward, actors Charlie Quirke and Dean Holdness, The Apprentice’s Daniel Lassman and ex-Monsterrat boss Kenny Dyer.

Even more big names are set to be announced over the next week and sponsorship and hospitality packages are available, for more information contact info@babypearleventsltd.com or call 07956 905370.

Tickets are still on sale for the Big Match for a Big Cause, for more information call 0871 310 883.
