Some players believe they have been underpaid and with the 4pm deadline now passed, they will not receive their wages in full until Tuesday at the earliest

Leyton Orient are understood to have now paid all their full-time staff for April, but it appears not all of the players have received what they are owed for the month.

Earlier this morning at 9am it was revealed club employees hadn’t received their wages, but the League Two club had until 4pm today to process the payments.

A couple of hours after news broke that the players and full-time staff hadn’t been paid, money began to go into the accounts of the club employees.

Like on Monday, when the players and full-time staff finally received their overdue wages for March, the payment came from a different bank account.

However, while all full-time staff are understood to have now been paid their wages for April in full, not all of the players have.

Some players believe they have been underpaid and with the 4pm deadline for today now passed, they will not receive their wages in full until Tuesday at the earliest.

It is far from idea preparation for Orient boss Omer Riza, who is trying to set up his team to face Colchester United tomorrow – O’s final home match of the League Two season.
