Club are understood to have not paid latest rent on the training ground facility in Chigwell

It is understood some Leyton Orient players have today been denied entry to the club’s training ground in Chigwell because the latest rent has not been paid.

Some injured members of the O’s squad turned up for physio treatment this morning, but were not allowed into the venue.

It is the latest problem for the recently relegated club, who have twice paid their full-time staff and players late in 2017.

Next month Orient are due to appear in the High Court again with some creditors still owed money.

Although the O’s have settled their debt with Bishops Printers and Alchemy Creators, the club still owe money to Centre Circle Event Management.

In the previous High Court appearance on March 20, the club settled their tax bill with HM Revenue and Customs, but four other creditors came forward.

And it seems ahead of their next court date on June 12, even more creditors may appear as the problems mount for Orient and their chairman Francesco Becchetti.
