Find out what Sammy Moore, Michael Clark, Freddy Moncur, Victor Adeboyejo, Charlie Grainger and Sam Roach have got up to over the past week

Victor Adeboyejo and young goalkeepers Charlie Grainger and Sam Roach joined Sammy Moore, Freddy Moncur and Michael Clark out on loan at non-league clubs from Leyton Orient recently.

With Andy Edwards now in charge at Brisbane Road, Adeboyejo and Grainger linked up with National League South teams Margate and Hampton & Richmond Borough respectively.

Moore finished the week strongly with Dover Athletic in the National League after a mixed time of it on Saturday.

The Whites were losing 1-0 at Macclesfield Town at the weekend when the match was abandoned at half time due to fog.

Moore had started the match, though had been unable to help his team get back on level terms before the break.

Orient’s midfielder was included from the off again on Tuesday at Sutton United and played his part in a big win.

The ex-AFC Wimbledon ace picked up two assists during a 6-0 win for Dover before being replaced in the 75th minute.

It was a good night for Moore and he’ll hope to be included in the starting XI at home to Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.

Moncur maintained his encouraging form at Bishop’s Stortford, although he couldn’t prevent the National League South side suffering an FA Trophy upset last weekend.

The Hertfordshire club made the trip to Hythe Town, of the Ryman South, and had an afternoon to forget.

Stortford had three people sent off during a 4-2 defeat, yet Moncur did find the net from the penalty spot after he was fouled inside the area.

Orient’s young midfielder played the whole game and is set to feature in two matches this week.

Moncur and Stortford face a long trip to Truro City in the National League South on Saturday before hosting Watford in the second round of the Hertfordshire Senior Cup on Tuesday (December 6).

Adeboyejo and Clark went head-to-head twice over the past few days with the defender coming out on top with East Thurrock.

The first FA Trophy clash between Rocks and Margate occurred at Hartsdown Park and finished 1-1 on Saturday.

East Thurrock took an early lead, however Adeboyejo won a spot-kick and converted for the hosts to force a replay.

Clark got the better of his fellow third-year scholar on Tuesday by helping Rocks keep a clean sheet at Rookery Hill during a 2-0 win.

Next up for Margate and Adeboyejo is a tricky National League South clash at Maidenhead United on Saturday.

East Thurrock and Clark have another two games to prepare for over the next few days in different competitions.

Rocks visit Wealdstone on Saturday in the National League South before an Essex Senior Cup third round tie at home to Bowers & Pitsea on Tuesday.

Charlie Grainger kept a clean sheet on his Hampton & Richmond Borough debut last weekend in the FA Trophy.

It was a disappointing result for the National League South side, however, as they could only draw 0-0 at home to Royston Town.

Royston, of the Southern League Division One and managed by O’s legend Steve Castle, were set to host a replay on Tuesday, but it was postponed.

Grainger and Borough now switch their focus to Saturday where they visit Concord Rangers in the National League South.

After the weekend clash, they will travel to Royston again on Tuesday looking to progress to the FA Trophy first round.

Sam Roach has spent the last week with Ryman South outfit Cray Wanderers after signing for the Bromley-based club on a work experience loan.

The young goalkeeper played the full 90 minutes on Saturday and helped Cray earn a 2-2 draw at Molesey.

Just three days later and Roach was on the road again with Wanderers taking on Hythe Town in the league.

Orient’s academy stopper conceding twice, yet the Londoners managed to claim an excellent 3-2 triumph.

Roach and Cray are back in action on Sunday (December 4) when Godalming Town visit Hayes Lane. It is more travelling for O’s youngster on Tuesday when they visit Herne Bay for another Ryman South fixture.
