The Londoner signs a permanent deal with the Brisbane Road club after spending two months on loan at the O’s earlier this season
Leyton Orient have signed James Brophy on a permanent deal from Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old spent time on loan at Brisbane Road at the start of the campaign, but returned to the Robins early due to an injury crisis at the Wiltshire club.
Brophy has struggled for game time at Swindon though, making just three outings for the League Two club since returning at the end of November, and so Orient have made a move for the Brent-born footballer again.
He will provide an alternative option at left-back and can play further forward if required by Justin Edinburgh.
The former Broadfields United youngster has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with the O’s and is their second signing of transfer deadline day.
Marvin Ekpiteta completed a switch to east London earlier today from National League South side East Thurrock United and Orient’s business for this window now appears to be done.
