Lisbie returns to Brisbane Road on opening day as O’s host Barnet

Leyton Orient will start their 2015/16 Sky Bet League Two campaign at home to Barnet and in the process welcome former forward Kevin Lisbie back to Brisbane Road.

The clash against Conference winners Barnet on August 8 will be Ian Hendon’s first competitive match in charge of the O’s and will see him come up against a team he captained and managed.

After Barnet, Orient will face local rivals Dagenham & Redbridge, managed by former player Wayne Burnett, the following Saturday.

The opening month’s fixtures are completed with a Tuesday night game at Brisbane Road against Stevenage (August 18), an away match with Newport County (August 22) and a home clash with Bristol Rovers (August 29).

September opens up with consecutive away trip to Exeter City (September 5) and Cambridge United (September 12) before welcoming Wycombe Wanderers to Brisbane Road on September 19. An away game with Northampton Town (September 26) and a Tuesday night home game against Carlisle United (September 29) complete the opening two months of the season.

The festive period will see a home match with Yeovil Town on December 19 before the traditional Boxing Day clash sees Orient host Portsmouth and an away clash with Bristol Rovers takes place two days later. Stevenage away is the first match of the New Year, taking place on January 2.

Easter weekend sees fixtures away to Accrington Stanley (March 26) and home to Hartlepool United (March 28) whilst O’s finish the season with the penultimate game at home against Mansfield Town on April 30 and Yeovil (May 7) away the last game of the campaign.
