Jobi McAnuff unavailable for key clash because he is away on international duty

Leyton Orient will be without two of their most experience players for the trip to Accrington Stanley today.

Jobi McAnuff is away with Jamaica on international duty while captain Mathieu Baudry serves the second of his four-match suspension.

Calaum Jahraldo-Martin, on-loan from Hull City, is also unavailable as he is with Antigua & Barbuda.

It means Kevin Nolan will be lacking options out wide at Crown Ground and Blair Turgott will definitely be involved with the squad.

Connor Essam and Bradley Pritchard won’t be with Orient up north, however, as they have joined Dover Athletic and Stevenage on loan respectively.

Jack Payne is expected to return to the substitutes bench after missing out completely against Morecambe due to a ruling which only allows a club to name five players on loan in the match day squad.

Alan Dunne may also be included alongside young defender Aron Pollock, who was one of the replacements last weekend.

Nolan is likely to keep his back four unchanged after Peter Ramage made his debut against the Shrimps.

Jay Simpson should remain up front and either Ollie Palmer or Armand Gnanduillet will partner him against Stanley.

The O’s have yet to lose on the road under their new player-manager having won four of their five away matches.

Accrington have enjoyed a fine campaign, though, and are five points above the east Londoners in the standings.

Therefore a tough clash is expected between two clubs pushing to achieve promotion this season.
