Justin Edinburgh has been boosted by the surprise availability of Ebou Adams and Macauley Bonne

Leyton Orient received a big boost on Thursday when it was confirmed both Ebou Adams and Macauley Bonne would be available to face Woking.

The O’s were bracing themselves to play without the pair when they received call-ups to the Gambia and Zimbabwe squads respectively earlier this month.

Both players, it is understood, have made the decision not to travel and will therefore be able to face the Cards later today.

Orient’s top goalscorer started on the bench last weekend at Eastleigh, but is set to earn a recall this afternoon.

He may well partner Dan Holman again and if that’s the case both of O’s strikers would have enjoyed stints with Woking in recent seasons.

Elsewhere, Justin Edinburgh will be without Charlie Lee (ACL) and James Dayton (hamstring), but has Myles Judd and Dan Happe to pick from again.

The academy graduates both played for Orient at Harlow Town on Tuesday during a friendly fixture with Greenwich Borough.

Jake Caprice, Marvin Ekpiteta, Nathan Mavila, David Mooney, Lamar Reynolds and Charlie Grainger also started, but they will all be hoping to secure a spot on the bench rather than in Edinburgh’s starting XI.

It is six games since O’s last won and they will hope to put that right at home to lowly Woking today.

Edinburgh told BBC London: “It is just not quite going for us in front of goal at the moment. It is not through a lack of effort or wanting, but it is just about composure and being a little bit more clinical.”
