Leyton Orient enjoyed arguably their best weekend of the season after picking up four points from a possible six over Easter.

But their 2-2 draw at Luton and 2-1 home win over Hartlepool have surely only delayed their inevitable relegation from League Two, with Omer Riza’s side seven points adrift of safety with only three games remaining.

O’s head to Crewe this weekend, when their drop into the National League will be confirmed if they do not win, and might go down even if they are successful.

East London rivals Dagenham & Redbridge, meanwhile, are hoping to earn promotion out of the National League and also took four points from six over the Bank Holiday weekend.

John Still’s men followed a 3-1 Good Friday win at Boreham Wood with a 2-2 home draw against Sutton United, when they let a two-goal lead slip, and venture to Wrexham looking to consolidate their play-off spot.

Premier League West Ham return to London Stadium to entertain in-form Everton, having let a winning lead slip themselves at relegation-threatened Sunderland last weekend.

Goals from Andre Ayew and James Collins looked like earning Slaven Bilic’s men three much-needed points on their travels, before a mistake by Darren Randolph in the last minute gifted the lucky Black Cats an equaliser.

Randolph’s position in the team has been debated this week, with hot-shot Romelu Lukaku looking to score for a 10th successive fixture against the Hammers.
