Millwall Albion have become the first Division Two side to reach the Jubilee Cup final in recent history following a thumping semi-final victory over Springfield.

Three Division Two clubs had made it into the last four of the competition, but Millwall were the only side from the third tier to advance to the final after Premier outfit Rolls Park cruised past Stoke Newington in the other semi-final.

Millwall will be considered huge underdogs in next month's cup final, but the plucky newcomers have lost just twice in their debut East London Sunday League campaign and underlined their potential with a 4-2 triumph over promotion rivals Springfield.

Premier Division champions Meath United moved back to the top of the table after overhauling long-time leaders Inter Lucia.

In a season plagued by inconsistency, the Bethnal Green club finally came up with the goods to record a 4-0 mauling of mid-table Crownfield and move two points clear of Inter.

Paul Linger scored direct from a corner to get Meath rolling before Danny Bradshaw smashed in a fine second. An own-goal compounded Crownfield's misery before Linger added his second of the game to complete the rout.

In Division One, East Moore now require just five points to secure the title following a 4-1 victory over improving Young Prince. Sean Foster hit a double for the Stepney side while Tony Field and Shaun Brennand were also on target.

Arbour Athletic remain firmly in the promotion picture after smashing Holloway in a 9-0 victory that featured hat-tricks by John Gilroy and Leroy Kemai.

White Swan and Cuckoo strengthened their hold on third place with a 3-0 win over Tube Lines, while Leyton Trades recovered from a three-goal deficit to force a stunning 3-3 draw with Reama.

In the only Division Two game, EFY and East Moore B shared a 1-1 draw that lifted EFY into second position, a point behind leaders Adriatiku.

New North Rangers moved three points clear at the top of Division Three and did their goal difference a power of good with a 10-0 win over bottom side Chettle Court Rangers.
