EAST London Sunday League Div 1 leaders Meath United stormed into the semi final of the Jubille Cup with an emphatic 4-0 win over Rolls Park.

Leon Ryan hit a superb hat-trick for Meath, while Paul Linger added a fourth to seal their victory.

The clash between Div 2 leaders SK Veleciku and midtable Div 1 side Beaumont International lived up to its billing as the best of the third round ties in the league's Jubilee Cup. In a thrilling end-to-end clash, it was the Div 1 side Beaumont who prevailed 3-2, but not after Veleciku had given them a terrific tussle.

The third tie of the round was an all-Hackney affair between the two Rangers - Clapton and Royal Standard. The improved Clapton side took the honours in a seven goal game, 5-2.

Larkswood scored the win of the weekend in Div 2. They were lying fourth going into their clash with Arbour Athletic, but came out on top against the Stepney side, winning 2-0.

Bottom side Leyton United are staging something of a revival. Previously without a point, they crushed fellow strugglers East End Utd in a meeting of the bottom two, 8-1 in their meeting on the South Marsh.

Midtable Leyton Predators were held to a 1-1 draw by Byron Athletic, who are also too near the foot of the table for comfort, while Adriatiku overcame Heath Park 3-1 in the division's other game.

Leaders Newham Rangers scored 15 with only one in reply when they crushed a hapless Anadolu, who are now second bottom. Second placed William Fitt Tigers were held 2-2 by the London Football Academy.

The clash between bottom side Chettle Court Rangers and Juva B also ended in a draw 0-0, while William Fitt Lions won 2-1 against Stratford Youth.
