With no competitive game now until March 31, West Ham United have headed off to Florida for some warm-weather training.

And after what went on against Burnley in the Premier League last weekend, with a 3-0 home loss only telling half the story, it’s probably best David Moyes’ Hammers have left the UK for a few days.

Leyton Orient and Dagenham & Redbridge would no doubt also like to quickly forget about their respective last seven days in the National League.

The O’s head for Eastleigh on Saturday after Justin Edinburgh’s men lost 1-0 to struggling Torquay United on Tuesday, which followed a 1-1 draw with Ebbsfleet United last weekend.

Daggers, meanwhile, have no game this weekend, given them even longer to reflect on their 2-1 loss at Halifax Town on Tuesday, which came after a 4-0 defeat at home to Tranmere Rovers last weekend.

John Still’s side do, however, have a fundraising friendly with West Ham to look forward to next Wednesday.
