Three popular West Ham blogs - The West Ham Way, ExWHUEmployee, and WestHamFanTV, have been announced as finalists for the 2016 Football Blogging Awards.

The annual awards, created to reward the best football blogs and aspiring journalists across the world, began in 2012 and recognise bloggers in 11 different categories including the Best Club Blog, Best International Football Blog, Best Podcast and Best Young Football Blog.

After a one-month voting period, The West Ham Way, ExWHUEmployee and WestHamFanTV have been nominated for The Best New Football Blog, Best Social Football Account, and Best Video Football Blog respectively.

Anthony Cooper, Co-Founder of the Football Blogging Awards, said: “The competition across all categories in this year’s awards is incredibly fierce, so these three blogs should be proud of just getting this far. The standard of football blog journalism is continuing to improve, and all of the finalists are worthy winners for their total dedication to their craft. It’s going to be a close call as to who comes out on top!”
