Poplar club plays match in Victoria Park to raise profile
Beanibazar Cricket Club UK played out an enjoyable Victoria Park friendly to help promote the Poplar-based club.
The match was also an opportunity to sign up new recruits and encourage networking, with Team Dalim dismissed for 156 after leading contributions from Hasan (35), Rubel (33) and Kahir (29).
Tuhin was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets and he was supported by Shiplu and Ashraf, who both took two each.
Team Rashal reached their target with two wickets to spare, with leading scores made by Jabir (40), Sufian (35), Ashraf (28) and captain Rashal (11), while Saidur took three wickets and there were two apiece for Rumon and Khaled.

Beanibazar Sporting Club vice-president Mahbub Ahmed Ranu said: “There is a lot of talent amongst these boys. The game was played in great spirit and has highlighted the depth of our talent. I’m glad everybody had a good day.”
